PGBh offers reward for info leading to the arrest of assailants of 4 ex rebels

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) offers a reward for information that will lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects who ambushed four former rebels in Batuan town.

This was revealed by Gov. Arthur Yap in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 over Newsmakers ug Uban Pa hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado.

The governor said that it is important that the people should partner with the government to maintain the peace and order.

Yap added that the people should not let the rebels disturb the peace and order in Bohol and the peaceful way of life.

The governor did not mention how much the reward will be, but assured a prize to those who will provide information that will lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.

It can be remembered that on Monday, April 26, 2021, allegedly 6 identified persons ambushed 4 former rebels in barangay Aloha, Batuan.

The governor said that the 4 former rebels were in barangay Aloha to help in the efforts of the government to bring the latter’s services to the remote areas in the province.

Moreover, the suspects killed Rolando Furnish and Jaime Cagatin while injuring Antonio Muring and Michael Hinampas.

As this developed, Central Command chief Lt. Gen. Roberto Ancan, in a report, condemned the attack on the 4 former rebels.
