NBL is the best move for Kai Sotto

I totally agree with former Gilas head coach and current Indonesia national team coach Rajko Toroman when he said that Kai Sotto’s decision to play for the Adelaide 36ers is the best move given the situation.

Kai will be able to prove himself against tough big men considering that the National Basketball League (NBL) of Australia is a big man’s league  where Kai can thrive and be able to show, if indeed, that he is ready for the National Basketball Association (NBA).

We all know that Kai’s stint in the G League got busted but Toroman said that the G League is for the guards and seldom the big men or centers are given the chance offensively to show their stuff.

Kai will have his chance In the NBL and surely he can write his own destiny once he plays in Australia.

The opportunity for Kai to play in Australia also can be a chance to heal the wounds caused by the ugly brawl between the Australian Boomers and Gilas.

Meanwhile, Thirdy Ravena made good in his promise as he sent Olympic-bound Eumir Marcial some needed supplements, including a brand-new pair of Nike shoes.

Marcial posted on social media the tokens he received from the Japan-based Ravena a day before he was to leave for Dubai to see action in the Asian Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships.

Aside from the training shoes, also part of the package was a set of  vitamins and supplements which according to the 25-year-old Marcial is going to be helpful.
