The former chief of the 47th Infantry Battalion (IB) Lt. Col. Allan Tabudlo of the Philippine Army got a commendation coming from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) as Tabudlo was replaced vy Lt. Col. Allyson Depayso.

The august body passed a resolution on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, commending Tabudlo for his exemplary service rendered to the Boholano people.

Moreover, Tabudlo was commended for his commendable performance and service in protecting the Boholanos against any threat to the province’s internal security during his tour of duty here.

Tabudlo served as the head of the 47th IB based in Camp Sikatuna in Carmen town for 2 years.

Tabudlo led the military forces in the arrest of the spouses Rey and Carmelita Camacho in Getafe, Bohol back in January, 2020.

The Camacho couple are allegedly high-ranking officials of the Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army.  (CPP-NPA).

Tabudlo also led a civic action mission where his team initiated an outreach program in several areas in the province.

Last Tuesday, right before he formally stepped down as the chief of the 47th IB, Tabudlo and his troops carved a stunning victory over suspected NPA rebels at barangay Cabacnitan, Bilar where 5 alleged NPA rebels were killed and one soldier was hurt.

Meanwhile, VIce Gov. Rene Relampagos praised Tabudlo for his exemplary performance. Relampagos is likewise thankful to Tabudlo and his team for helping the Provincial Government of Bohol maintain peace and order here.
