Even with the pandemic, The Bellevue Resort has been continuing its advocacy of promoting sustainability and providing meaningful hospitality service not just to its guests but also to the community. 

On March 14, 2021, the five-star resort in Bohol organized a sustainable mobile community pantry – Jeep of Hope – in barangay Doljo, Panglao Island. Fresh vegetables, rice, eggs, facemasks, alcohol disinfectants, and other necessities were provided to the recipients who are in need during these trying times.

This Jeep of Hope initiative reflects the company’s values and commitment to the local communities where it operates.

Employees from The Bellevue Resort Bohol led by the Resort Manager, Doer Escoto together with Miss Universe 2020 – 3rd Runner Up and Ambassador for Tourism, Pauline Amelinckx, distributed 200 packages to 100 indigent families of barangay Doljo. 

Each family representative received two care packages filled with organic goods and sanitary care kits from Clean Code.The conduct of The Bellevue Resort’s Community Pantry project followed the strict health and safety protocols.

“We are encouraging those who are able to extend their helping hands to join us and support this Jeep of Hope campaign, in the aim of making this a monthly drive to different communities in Bohol, so together we can collectively make a difference in the lives of many and get through this pandemic together.” – said Yumi Ichinomiya-Chan, Group Business Development Director of The Bellevue Resort.
