The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) held its regular session on July 22, 2021 during the celebration of Bohol Day, wherein Gov. Arthur Yap delivered his 2nd State of the Province Address (SOPA).
Yap requested the SP to hold its session on Bohol Day paving the way for him to deliver his SOPA on the said date.
Yap’s SOPA centered on his several programs in agriculture, water development projects, tourism, health and improvement of healthcare facilities, Coronavirus and emergency response including the vaccination drive.
In a video presentation, Yap highlighted his accomplishments under his administration which include the success of the ART 160 and ART 120; the corn clustering to help address food security and most specially to address the scarcity of raw materials needed by livestock and fish.
The governor also mentioned the establishment of new health care facilities and the dialysis center in Talibon, and the aggressive fight against the threat of the Covid virus.
Yap urged everyone to respond to the “Call for Greatness” and to start contributing to the continued growth and development of Bohol.
Likewise, he called for everybody to stop spreading fake news and misleading information which are detrimental to the province of Bohol.
