The Bohol Integrated Development Foundation (BIDEF) conducted public forum on Covid vaccination, a press release from the non-governmental organization (NGO) said.

The forum was centered on the ongoing anti Coronavirus disease (Covid) vaccination rollout of the government.

The said forum was held on July 27-28, 2021 in the towns of Loay, Loboc and Sevilla, Bohol.

It was participated in by representatives of the youth, women/senior citizens, and barangay officials.

The resource speakers were Dr. Emerson Mateo, MD and Rhon Zapatos, from the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital.

The forum was timely and relevant as it aims to further promote awareness on the importance of getting an anti Covid jab.

The goal is to have as many people to get vaccinated as possible to achieve herd immunity.

The activity is still part of the ongoing implementation of the project Disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives in Vulnerable Areas Toward Effective Governance and Resilient Communities or DR²ILLS. Implemented by BIDEF (Josueh M. Gulayan)
