Gov. Arthur Yap led the distribution of financial aid to barangay officials from the 2nd district and Duero town on Aug. 18, 2021, according to a report from the Provincial Information and Media Relations (PRIMER) released on Aug. 20, 2021.
Each barangay official from the 2nd district and Duero P100,000 in financial aid to be used in their respective waterworks projects.
The barangays from the 2nd district are from the towns of Bien Unido, San Miguel and Trinidad, the report added.
The barangays of Puerto San Pedro and Poblacion in Bien Unido, San Miguel town’s barangays Bayongan, Bugang, Camanaga, Cambangay Norte, San Isidro, San Vicente, Sto. Nino, and Poblacion, the barangays of Catoogan, Kinan-oan, Mahagbu, San Vicente and Soom in Trinidad town each received P100,000 in financial aid.
In the same day, 21 barangays from the town of Duero got their annual financial aid from the Capitol with each getting P25,000.
The punong barangays of Alejawan, Angilan, Anibongan, Bangwalog, Cansuhay, Danao, Duay, Guinsularan, Imelda, Itum, Langkis, Lobogon, Madua Norte, Madua Sur, Mambool, Mawi, Payao, San Antonio, San Isidro, San Pedro and Taytay each received P25,000.
In his message to the barangay leaders, Yap related to them the latest report on the situation regarding the Coronavirus disease (Covid) and the measures on preventing the further spread of the infection.
