Tagbilaran’s City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) rescued a native python locally known as “baksan” after it got entangled with a power line located near the public market in barangay Cogon, this morning, Sept. 1, 2021, according to reports.

Reports add that the phyton has a length of at least 3 meters.

Witnesses say that they saw the huge snake got entangled with the power line.

The witnesses asked for assistance from the CDRRMO to rescue the snake from possible electrocution.

Elements of the CDRRMO immediately went to the scene to rescue the snake before it gets electrocuted, reports reveal.

Reports bare that the members of the CDRRMO were able to extricate the snake and was returned to its home which is a huge balite tree located at the public market located in barangay Cogon.
