Sen. Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian has visited Bohol to distribute relief goods and in order to find out the condition of the province following the onslaught of typhoon Odette.

He arrived in Bohol on Dec. 24, 2021 and was met by provincial government officials including Rep. Edgar Chatto.

Gatchalian participated in a ceremonial turnover of relief packs. He was joined by Vice Gov. Rene Relampagos and local government unit (LGU) officials from Jagna,Bien Unido, Alicia,Ubay, and Getafe.

Following the ceremonial turnover, the senator also met with Bohol media at the capitol lobby where lead questions were thrown by Atty. Greg Austral, Dave Albarado and Jonas Anover of the The Bohol Tribune.

The senator then proceeded to Calape town for an ocular inspection on the damage brought by the typhoon. He also met with some local officials.

Gatchalian also visited Balilihan gym to meet local leaders and residents who were affected by the typhoon.

The senator then proceeded to Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA) where he met Panglao mayor Leonila Montero before the former departed for Manila in the afternoon of Dec. 24, 2021.
