PDEA, police nab drug suspect, confiscate P102K worth of suspected shabu

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police arrested a drug suspect in Tagbilaran and reportedly yielded P102,000 worth of suspected shabu, according to reports.
The report adds that the PDEA and the police conducted a buy bust operation on Feb. 15, 2022 at Purok 8, Tambot street, barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.
The said operation led to the arrest of the suspect identified as a certain Jayce T. Escabas, alias Jessie Escabas, male, 32, jobless, and a resident of barangay Cogon.
The PDEA reported that it seized 11 packs containing suspected shabu worth P120,000 with an estimated weight of 16 grams.
Moreover, cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect, the PDEA added.
