7th Year Wedding Anniversary

EFONDO & CAHATOL NUPTIALS

Saturday, June 28, 2015

The newlyweds – Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Efondo (nee Corazon Cahatol).

Oliver and Corazon got married seven (7) years ago, on June 28, 2015 to be exact. June of
this year (2022), marked their 7th year wedding anniversary. Let us try to recall that beautiful ceremony that was featured in this section – yes, 7 years ago.
With 200 solid friends, relatives and guests attending the event, the Efondo & Cahatol
wedding at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, this City of Tagbilaran became an affair to beautifully and truly remember.
The church rites, which started at 1 :00 in the afternoon of their wedding day, were led by
Fr. Martin Lupiba who officiated the marriage ceremonies.
Oliver Efondo, the groom, is from Nagsulay, Lila, Bohol and the bride, Corazon Cahatol, is from
Macalingan, also of Lila, Bohol. Both came home from on their wedding day for the celebration.

The red and sunset yellow motif which inspired and liberated every bit of activity during the post wedding ceremony held at the Sandugo Grand Ballroom of the Bohol Tropics Resort, catapulted the guests to a higher level of gladness as they
literally jumped with joy and cheered with laughter – all for the newly couple.
The love story of Oliver and Corazon is deeply rooted in their hearts. They were classmates
in high school. Then they separated ways after graduation to study in other institutions. However, it seemed that there was an unseen hand setting their directions to meet again in 2013.
This happened through the “FB” pages of social media. Speed of events happened like
wild fire as Oliver got Corazon’s “yes” to be his girlfriend in 2014, the year when he proposed to
her, here in Tagbilaran City.
And as we always say, the rest is history, as everyone saw Corazon marching down the aisle
last June 28, 2015 to meet her groom at the altar.
Our “thank you” to both Oliver and Corazon for the opportunity given to “SMILE”, Philippines
as coordinator, commentator and reception host of the different ceremonies.
