A bridge connecting the towns of Antequera and Cortes, both belonging to the 1st District of Bohol, gets inaugurated and brings convenience to motorists and travelers alike.
The office of Cong. Edgar Chatto, reported on Aug. 9, 2022, that the new Viga-Rosario bridge replaces the old one damaged in a flash flood.
The bridge provides people coming from Antequera, the fastest route to the Cortes-Balilihan- Tubigon national road without the need to pass through Poblacion, Antequera.
Meanwhile, the road concreting project located at barangay Tupas is now completed, too, the same report says.
The road provides an access to Lake Tupas-Viga, which is a declared tourist site, reports bare.
The said road concreting project’s funds were sourced from the General Appropriations Act of 2022 and facilitated by Cong. Chatto, the reports add.
