Personnel of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) attended the three-day training which is related to disaster preparedness, according to the agency’s head Dr. Anthony Damalerio.
Damalerio said the PDRMMO personnel participated in the workshop on Risk Assessment and Localized Multi-hazard Early Warning System.
The workshop is facilitated by Advocates for Development (A2D) and National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, Damalerio (NGCP) added.
“This training targets to enhance and develop a more localized multi-hazard early warning system thru the understanding of the process of doing risk assessments,” Damalerio said in his post on Facebook.
The disaster risk reduction chief of Bohol thanked the leadership of the Provincial Government for the support and opportunity given to the PDRRMO team.
The PDRRMO is an award-winning agency as it bagged the Gawad Kalasag from the Office of Civil Defense-7, last month.
