The League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP)-Bohol chapter is about to choose its new set of officers, tomorrow, Sept. 2, 2022, at Henann Resort in Panglao, according to Buenavista mayor and interim president LMP-Bohol president Dave Duallo.
Duallo said on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, that 47 mayors of Bohol are expected to assemble in the said resort to choose new leaders and also to bond with one another.
The new set of officials will serve until 2025, Duallo added.
Moreover, Duallo is poised to run for position of president as well as Pres. Carlos P. Garcia mayor Fernando Estavilla.
It has been reported that there would be a term-sharing agreement between Duallo and Estavilla. The agreement stipulates that Duallo will be the president for 1 and a half years and Estavilla will be at the helm of LMP for 18 months.
Both Duallo and Estavilla are allies of Gov. Aris Aumentado.
