Gipasalamatan ni Presidente Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. niadtong Okt. 5, 2022 ang mga magtutudlo sa tibuok nasud sa ilang bililhon nga serbisyo sa nasud, ilabina taliwala sa pagbalik sa limitadong face-to-face classes.
Sa iyang mensahe sa National Teachers’ Day, giawhag ni Marcos ang mga Filipino sa pag-ila sa mga sakripisyo sa mga magtutudlo sa pag-umol sa mga estudyante ug pag-andam kanila sa pagkab-ot sa ilang mga pangandoy.
“This is also a good opportunity to express our sincerest appreciation for their invaluable service to the nation as we safely reopen our schools and bring forth a new era of learning amidst the post-pandemic world,” matud pa sa Presidente.
Gihulagway niya ang edukasyon isip “the bedrock of every prosperous society” o ang pundasyon sa matag mauswagon nga katilingban, nga naghisgot kung giunsa ang mga magtutudlo nagsilbi nga “important drivers of our nation.”
“Today, we honor our dear educators across the country for ensuring our youth’s holistic development as they aspire to be agents of change within their respective communities and beyond,” dugang pa sa Presidente.
Si Marcos mipadayag ug pagsalig nga sa tabang sa mga magtutudlo, ang nasud molambo nga mas lig-on uban sa matag Filipino nga mahimong mas makahimo sa pagtukod ug mas maayong kaugmaon alang sa tanan.
