 “Lyle, Lyle Crocodile ” at Screenville Cinemas

A film adaptation of Bernard Waber’s classic children book of the same title about a family whose lives are changed when they meet a friendly singing and dancing reptile, “Lyle, Lyle Crocodile” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

    When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son, Josh, struggles to adapt to his new surroundings. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle, a singing saltwater crocodile living in the attic of his new home. The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primms must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places. Award-winning singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes stars as the lovable crocodile who opens the hearts of a family who recently moved to New York.

“Black Adam” at Screenville Cinemas

        Hollywood muscleman Dwayne Johnson stars as DC Comics antihero in the film adaptation of the same name, “Black Adam”, which will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, October 19, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

        A slave in Kahndaq 5,000 years ago, Black Adam is a ruthless keeper of justice, a judge, a jury, and an executioner. He believes in an eye for an eye and he will always do everything he can to protect and liberate his people, delivering his own brand of justice. He was granted the powers of the Gods and was originally referred to as Mighty Adam.

After a thousand years of imprisonment, Black Adam is unleashed into modern times. His brute tactics and way of justice attract the attention of the Justice Society of America, who tries to stop his rampage, teach him how to be a hero more than a villain, and must team up to stop a force more powerful than Adam himself.

”BLACK ADAM” will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, October 19, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
