The members of the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRM) stood guard during this long holiday break as they monitored the activities of people who visited the cemeteries during Kalag-kalag.

CDRRMO Head Gerard Lavadia and his staff manned the Emergency Operations Center and coordinated the emergency preparedness and response for Kalag-kalag 2022.

Other members of the CDRRMO were stationed at the different cemeteries in the city.

The CDRRMO has always been on the forefront to assist Tagbilaranons during emergency or crisis situations.

Just recently, the CDRRMO acquired a vibraphone and a vibrascope. The new pieces of equipment are going to be used for locating victims trapped or buried under collapsed structures and landslides.

Tagb’s HRIS gets green light

In line with City Mayor Jane Yap’s advocacy on digitalization, the Human Resources and Management Office (HRMO) launched the HRIS, or the Human Resource Information System, according to the report released by the City Media Bureau.

The system is an online platform that allows City Government employees to file their leaves without the need of paper documents.

Each user is also given access to check pay slips and daily time records.

The software is capable of gathering, storing and managing data about the employees.

This system gathers and monitors all the information in one platform.

One of its main features is keeping a detailed record of the employees’ information. Personal data such as names, address, hiring dates, salary amounts, benefits gained and many other can be stored in the system.

As all the data are contained in the same space, making complex changes can be done in a few minutes.

As the system is capable of keeping a record of specific information about employees like attendance records, sick leaves, and vacations leaves, human resources planning is made efficient and systematic. It can also make forecast about possible changes or trends in the organization’s human resources. The online software also aids the HR recruitment process management and payroll management.
