The leaders of Wakanda fight to protect their nation as they mourn the loss of their king in the much-awaited sequel to Marvel Comic’s “Black Panther” in 2018, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
In the wake of King T’Challa’s death, the African kingdom of Wakanda is pitted against intervening world powers which targeted Wakanda’s vibranium, unleashing chaos. The leaders — Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) – must band together against the invading forces, as a new threat also emerges from the hidden undersea nation of Talokan rising from the depths. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must fight to defend the nation with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for their nation.

“Strange World” at Screenville Cinemas
A legendary family of explorers embarks on a journey to a mysterious planet inhabited by surreal lifeforms in the latest animated film from Walt Disney, “Strange World”, which will premiere on Wednesday, November 23, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Inspired by the classic adventure story, “Strange World” is about three generations of the Clade family who overcome their differences while exploring a strange, amazing, and often contradictory world. They navigate the unattainable dangerous land with a diverse crew that includes unique blob creatures, three-legged dogs and wild animals and greedy creatures. Jake Gyllenhaal is the voice of Searcher Clade, a man who loves his family, who finds himself out of his comfort zone on an unexpected mission. Searcher has always been a farmer, and has never had the bravery of his family of explorers. But as they are forced to tackle their latest and most crucial mission, they must rely on each other and are forced to put away their differences while in the uncharted and treacherous land of Avalonia.
