Balilihan vice mayor Trisha Chatto revealed on Dec. 17, 2022, that her town’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received a fully-equipped ambulance from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The new ambulance improves the ability of the firefighters of the local fire station to respond to emergency situations and attend to the injured.
Balilihan is one of the local government units which received a new ambulance as Tagbilaran City is another recipient.
Meanwhile, professional basketball players conducted a basketball clinic in Balilihan.
John Paul Erram and Jayjay Alejandrino of TNT Tropang Giga with former basketball
player Peter Naron conducted the clinic.
Sen. Christopher Go was the one who donated the basketballs used by the clinic participants, according to the vice mayor of Balilihan.
