Cong. Edgar Chatto says that there are more reasons to celebrate this Christmas than before, observing that unlike the holidays in the past, people are ready now to party after the height of the pandemic and the impact of typhoon Odette last year.

“It seems surreal when we think of the difficulties and challenges that came our way. Looking back, we have many reasons to feel grateful for the celebration of the season,” Chatto said.

The first district representative also acknowledged the effort of key sectors – public and private, non government organizations, civil society organizations – by responding splendidly to the effects of the pandemic and typhoon Odette.

“The challenges [of the pandemic and the typhoon] brought us together in selflessness and generosity, no doubt inspired by Jesus’ love,” he added, “hoping that the celebration of Christmas will make Boholanos appreciate the true blessings of the season.”

Moreover, Chatto assured his continued support towards greater progress for the province, having been in constant discussions with provincial leaders and colleagues in Congress to push for legislation that benefit Bohol and the country.
