Two Boholano Architects Elevated to Fellows at 48th National Convention

of the United Architects of the Philippines.

The 48th National Convention of the United Architects of the Philippines was a momentous event for the Boholano architects.

Approximately 60 of them attended the convention, which was held at the famous Philippine International Convention Center.

This center was designed by none other than National Artist for Architecture Leandro Locsin.

This year’s convention was particularly special for the Bohol chapter as they endorsed two members to be elevated to Fellows: Architect German Janus Niño Guidaben and Architect Socrates Fucanan.

This is a significant achievement for the chapter, as they have only had three Fellows since their inception: the late Architect Venerando Dumadag, Architect Eufracio Araneta, and Architect Eugenia Pinoliad.

The elevation of these two members to Fellows is a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft. It also serves as an inspiration to other members of the Bohol chapter to strive for excellence in their field.

Photos on this page capture some of the activities during the convention.
