MISS BOHOL PAULINE AMELINCKX
Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx, the 2023 JCI Chocolate Hills
President, has won 10 special awards during the Miss Universe
Philippines Preliminary Competition held at Okada Manila.
The awards include Ms CreamSilk Ultimate, Ms Soen, Ms
Keman’s Body, Ms Hello Glow, Ms Origee Beauty Drink by Skin
Magical, Ms Jojo Bragais, Ms Titan Universe, Ms Enderun, Ms
Smilee Apparel and Ms Avana.
Amelinckx continues to inspire and #emPAUwer everyone with
her achievements, JCI said.
Her success in the preliminary competition brings her one step
closer to conquering the universe, JCI added.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 grand coronation night will
be held on Sunday, May 13.
“We wish Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx all the best and are
proud of her accomplishments,” notes JCI.
PURSUING DREAMS
Pauline Amelinckx was born to a Belgian father and a Filipino
mother. She hails from Tubigon, Bohol.
In 2017, she graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University in
Mandaue City with a degree in international studies and
majored in European studies.
In 2019, she was appointed as an ambassador of Yellow Boat
Hope (BH), a foundation that works on the ground to improve
children’s access to education and make it easier for them to
go to school fast, safe and dry.
When the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic started in
2020, she launched a campaign called Hope in the Box.
She donated boxes that contained coloring books, face masks,
powdered milk and fruits to children in Bohol.
Pauline Amelinckx is returning to the Miss Universe Philippines
(MUPh) 2023 stage for her third and final shot at the crown.
This decision was not a last-minute one but one that she had
been pondering for months. She trusts her gut feeling and feels
like she could still step up, bring people together for meaningful
causes and be transformed herself.
She also knew and felt she would regret it if she didn’t take this
leap of faith for her final round with MUPH.
