FOR MAY 21, 2023

This edition of VOX POPULI is featuring Part 2 of the
netizens’ reactions, responses and comments to a
QUESTION posted on the facebook wall of the managing
editor of The Bohol Tribune.
The QUESTION is: “UNSAY IMONG IKASULTI nga gasugod
years elementary, 4 years secondary ug 4 years college

PART 2

 from Jeanette Macapaz: It would be much better if the
question will be returned back to former Education Sec. Bro.
Armin Luistro who pushed for the implementation despite
knowing the fact that everything was not yet in order at the
time of the implementation & just telling the Filipino people
that our country is lagging behind because of our present
education. SAD for the students, parents who until now has
to follow the K-12 program.
 from Thelma O. Caja: As my opinion, ako anak nakaagi

makatarbaho man sila segub rapod sa ila namauhan dili pod
opisina ang matarvahuan, mag lisod gani ang college
graduate karon ug mangaplay kay with experience gipangita
,naa poy naka experience kong wla sad kay backer dili japon
madawat,, Maayo pay ibalik sauna na wlay K-12 pareha
raman gihapon…
 from Jes Seroje: It’s there for a reason. Granted nga when
it was implemented, the education system was not and still
not ready pero makuwangan nasad atong nasod ug
educational years. Mawani nasad tas ubang countries. The
only way to mitigate the situation is to improve the K12.
nangagi ug K12, galisod pa gale ug construct ug simple
sentences. Hani na kaha ug from 4th yr high school to
freshmen college diritso. Sa Research pa lang, kapa-kapa
na.
 from Raul Gatal to Jes Seroje: If I may add sir, it seems
nag most students now wala na ila reading comprehension
and cannot grasp the concept ug S-TV- DO.
 from Jes Seroje to Raul Gatal: Wala gale masuwat sa
Essay Test nga mao man untay makadako ug score sa
exam tsk tsk…
 from Remlih Olebuc: Haay pag sure tawon mos inyong
mga in and out..
 from Maura Lange: Gud am maam uyon kaayo ko nga
mawa na k-12.

 from Ma Consuelo Loquellano Clarete: YES na YES
ma’am ards to eliminating the k+12 program..yes to 6
yr.elem., 4 yr.secondary, yes to 4yr.college courses(except
to other courses requiring add.yrs..Thank U.
 from Raul Gatal: Is it the k12 program itself or the quality of
instruction? Murag kana unta ang tutokan first.
 from Julius Aron: Way hinungdan jud na k12, dugang lang
 from Gervasio Lopena: Labing maayo nga ibalik ang 6
years elementary ug 4 years high school. Ngano: Ga usik
Nakasinati mi niini sa among
pamilya. Dili man makamao gani ug simple fractions sa
Arithmetics or Mathematics. Para nako, maayo pa ibalik ang
daang curricula.
 from Miguelita Mangaron: l am in favor of K-12 in public
sch. for it is an additional burden to those parents who could
hardly meet their daily needs for those who are planning to
reside abroad let thier children take the K12 in some private
schools who are offering K 12 so that their children will not
be behind in the country whom they are planning to reside.
 from Juvenal Digal Beniga: Ok kaayo wad on na sng k12
mam back to old curriculum nalang ta gawas sa law ug
medicine nga need jd nga 8 years.
 from Atty. Aster Apalisok Piollo: Am for the old curricula
with more emphasis and focus on the 3 r’s reading writing
and arithmetic. our children are becoming dumbmer and

dumbner every year. dnt know where the fault lies. teachers
are loaded on paper work nd the Deped is so engrossed …
with copying strategies that don’t fit our children.
 from Crisaldo Felisilda Estoque Jr.: You became
successful and popular w/o the K2…i think dili na need aron
dali maka work ang mga new graduates…Its not the system
ang naay issue. but the learnings na gikuha rasad cguro sa
college…
 from Maxima Ancog: Thumbs up symbol
 from Thata Celeres to Cromwell Flores: Absolutely correct
 from Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta: NO TO K-12
