The Provincial Government of Bohol has announced that the qualifying examinations for the Bohol Educational Subsidy Program (BESP) will be held on July 11-22, 2023. The exams will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:
- Bohol Island State University (BISU) Main Campus
- Tagbilaran City College (TCC)
- Trinidad Municipal College (TMC)
- Buenavista Community College (BCC)
- Talibon Polytechnic College (TPC)
- Colegio de Getafe (CDG)
- Danao Technological College (DTC)
The BESP is a program that provides financial assistance to deserving students who are enrolled in any university or college in Bohol. The subsidy is worth PHP10,000 per year and can be used to cover tuition fees, miscellaneous expenses, and other educational costs.
To be eligible for the BESP, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a senior high school graduate or incoming first-year college student.
- Belong to an indigent family.
- Enroll in any university or college in Bohol.
