Tagbilaran City Government brings “Operation Tuli” to all its barangays

The City Government of Tagbilaran has launched a series of “Operation Tuli” activities across different barangays of the city, offering free circumcision services to young boys.

This project is part of the city’s commitment to  public health the people’s well-being.

The initiative, which started in July, aims to provide accessible and safe medical procedures to the community’s youth.

Mayor Jane Yap has expressed her satisfaction with the ongoing “Operation Tuli” initiative.

She said: “By conducting ‘Operation Tuli’ in different barangays, we are making essential healthcare services more accessible to our residents. It’s a step towards a healthier community, and I’m grateful to our City Health Office, barangay health workers, the medical team and partners who are contributing to this effort.”.

Over 900 patients underwent circumcision in barangays Bool, Booy, Cabawan, Cogon, Taloto, Dampas, Dao, Poblacion I, Manga, Mansasa and Poblacion II.

The “Operation Tuli” team will be visiting the remaining barangays of Poblacion III, San Isidro, Tiptip and Ubujan within this month of August.

The outreach efforts have been conducted in various barangays, bringing medical professionals and support staff to local communities.

These dedicated teams work together to ensure that the circumcision procedures are carried out under hygienic and secure conditions, providing peace of mind to parents and guardians.

“Operation Tuli” is a testament to the city’s proactive approach to ensuring the health and welfare of its residents, particularly the younger generation.

Beyond offering free circumcision, the program also includes educational components focused on hygiene and proper medical care.
