Through the efforts of Trinidad Mayor Roberto Cajes (in photo, standing, left, holding a microphone),
more funds are poured into the town. On Sept. 6, 2023, there was a turnover ceremony of the
Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Integrated Livelihood Projects. During the event, the
mayor said: “Dugang tabang na usab ang nadawat sa upat (4) ka mga asosasyon sa lungsod sa Trinidad
gikan sa DOLE pinaagi sa ilang programa nga Integrated Livelihood Project. Nakadawat ang Association
of Farmers and Fisherfolks sa La Union (AFFILA) ug P343,360.00 alang sa ilang Swine Breeding Gilt to
Fattening Production program; Pundok sa Kababayen-an sa Poblacion Trinidad (PKPT) ug P421,464.70
alang sa ilang Swine Fattening Program; Nagkahiusang Motor Drivers sa Trinidad ug P467,185.00 alang
usab sa ilang Swine Fattening Program; ug Hinlayagan Ilaya Agrarian Farmers Beneficiary Association
(HIAFBA) ug P248,880.00 alang sa ilang Egg Production and Marketing Program. Dako kaayo kini ug
tabang isip dugang pondo sa mga asosasyon aron pagpalambo sa ilang mga proyekto.” All these have
been made possible through the leadership of Mayor Cajes and also through Ms. Vanesa Cutanda, the
Public Employment Service Office (PESO) manager of Trinidad town The turnover activity was also
attended by Municipal Administrator Brian Tinio, former Mayor Judith Del Rosario Cajes (seated, right)
