On Oct. 2, 2023, Tubigon Mayor William Jao (in photo, holding a microphone) took part in a
turnover ceremony of 2023 Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) targeted
actions to reduce poverty and generate economic transformation held at the Municipal
Building, at Potohan, Tubigon, Bohol. Beneficiaries are the Tilapia Growers from Buenos
Aires, Tan-awan and Banlasan and Bangus Growers from Ubay Island. The beneficiaries
received 13 bags per unit of feeds; 1000 fingerlings; 1 unit Post Harvest and Value-Added
