LGU Jagna hosts PAMB meeting re environmental dev’t. concerns. The Municipality of Jagna played host to a gathering of the Protected Area Development and Management Board (PAMB) on February 22, 2024 held at the Capt. Goyo Caseñas Hall, Municipal Building. The meeting, presided over by Mayor Joseph A. Rañola, saw the active participation of board members representing diverse government entities, including DENR, NGCP, and barangay officials from LGU Duero. The meeting’s agenda encompassed several significant topics: the Comprehensive Development and Management Plan (CDMP); the unveiling of a proposed commercial building for commercial purposes within Lonoy, Jagna; a report on the illegal logging of Mahogany Trees and Indigenous species in Mayana; a project presentation outlining the proposed tourism project of LGU Duero; and updates from the Technical Working Committees.
