On March 21, 2024, the Dauis Fire Station conducted and hosted the 1st Dauis Industrial Fire Olympics at the Dauis Local Government Unit Grounds. The Dauis Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP) said: “ In line with the monthlong Fire Prevention celebration, the Dauis Fire Station personnel headed by SFO1 Henry R. Paderog, Officer In Charge; under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, JD, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal; conducted and hosted the 1st Dauis Industrial Fire Olympics at the Local Government Unit (LGU) grounds. The event was well attended and participated in by several industrial companies like The Bohol Bee Farm, The Bohol Plaza Mountain Resort and Restaurant, The Flushing Meadows Resort and Playground, Wilcon Depot and The Bohol Shores. The participants demonstrated well in all the events like the Fire Extinguishment event, the Blitz Attack and Busted Hose Connection event, the Medical Relay and the (ERT) or Emergency Rescue Relay. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dauis headed by our very own energetic Mayor, Roman “Amoy” Bullen with Vice-Mayor Marietta Tocmo-Sumaylo. And also equally important to mention is the DRRM department headed by the ever gorgeous, brilliant and beautiful Queenie Melody Fullante for her unselfish and unwavering support. Without them, we at the Bureau of Fire Protection-Dauis Fire Station couldn’t pull this event off successfully.
