Cong. Edgar Chatto (center) presents a Congressional Plaque of Merit to Elvin Perocho Vitor (left). Vitor is set to receive the world-renown 6th Leonardo da Vinci International Art Prize on April 14 in Milan, Italy. Vitor’s collection of the “Bulawanong Bol-anon Series” paintings featured hiswinning piece, the 53×89-inch, hyper-surreal portrait of fellow Boholano artist and environmentalist Pedro Angco. The April 14 awarding rites will be held at the National Museum of Science and Technology-Leonardo da Vinci. Vitor will get to exhibit his masterpiece in the venue. His work will also be featured in the book Contemporary Celebrity Masters Volume II 2024, alongside works of other contemporary artists.
