Town News-JAGNA

The LGU Jagna FB post said: “On April 4, 2024, the LGU-Jagna through its program BARANGAYAN 2024 provided help and basic services to one of its most remote areas of Balili, Jagna. Mayor Joseph Rañola (in photo) deployed his department heads and their staff including the representatives of our national agencies such as the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Science and Technology, Department of the Interior and Local Government, and others, to the area on that day in order to bring public services right up to the doorstep of the Jagnaanons residing in Balili, Jagna. It is an undeniable fact that there are many Jagnaanons who have been living in a far flung area of our town and who are unable to get any of the services and benefits from the municipal government of Jagna due to the distance and the lack of funds. And because of this, Mayor Joseph Rañola has opted to take the initiative to make these Jagnaanons feel that they are not forgotten and that they are being taken care of in spite of their absence by bringing government services closer to their home. The people of Balili, Jagna was happy and had a grand time commingling and interacting with their public officials who are there not only to support and serve them but also to entertain them with their own brand of singing and dancing repertoire. KUDOS TO LGU- JAGNA!!!” Contributed photo
