Tubigon Mayor William Jao (inset, upper right corner) announced on April 2, 2024 the following information: “The Philippine Rice Research Institute Development Communication Division conducted a Communication Needs Assessment (CNA) in Tubigon to ensure that they get the right content to efficiently serve Tubignon rice farmers. The CNA is an interviewer-administered survey where individual farmers were asked what information they usually inquired for their rice farming endeavor. Following the CNA, there will be a Knowledge Sharing and Learning activity (KSL) to be organized. The KSL is another half-day activity where a resource speaker provides recommendations to the recurring rice production challenges farmers face based on the results of the CNA.
