San Miguel Mayor Ian Gil Mendez (standing with a microphone) is sharing the success of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) as the latter boosts the lives of Bohol ARBs by turning over more than P1.5-M worth of various farm machineries and equipment. The DAR Provincial Office (DARPO) Bohol turned over P1.5-M worth of Farm Machinery and Equipment (FME) to two Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) in Bayongan, San Miguel, Bohol on April 18, 2024. ARBO Basacan Irrigators Association Inc. of Bayongan, San Miguel, Bohol, received: a 40HP 4WD Tractor, a Disc Plow and Rotary Tiller under the Major Crop Block Farming while ARBO Corazon San Miguel Farmers Association Inc. (COSFA) of Corazon, San Miguel, Bohol received a Hand Tractor with Trailer and Mechanical Rice Thresher under the Sustainable Livelihood program. The activity is part of the Major Crop-based Block Farming Project and Sustainable Livelihood Program, a component of the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Program being implemented by the DAR.
