Bohol Light Company Inc. unveiled a new brand identity Monday, showing its commitment to the province’s future and the company’s renewed dedication to serving Bohol residents.

The refreshed logo reveals energy, sustainability and innovation for the power distributor serving the vibrant Boholano community, the company said in a statement.

“This is more than just a new logo,” Bohol Light President and CEO Roel Castro said. “It embodies the heart of Bohol Light: serving Tagbilaran with unwavering dedication for the past 25 years and the next 25 years and beyond.”

Castro said the company will focus efforts on consumers and stakeholders in its service areas.

The new design features an updated color palette symbolizing the company’s role, with Bauhaus font reflecting its commitment to progress.

Bohol Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado and Tagbilaran Mayor Jane Yap attended the rebranding event alongside some Bohol leaders.

Aumentado called the rebranding a “renewal of commitment” to customers.

“Under the leadership of Primelectric Holdings Inc., Bohol Light is securing a brighter future for all Boholanos,” he said. “We are modernizing power distribution facilities and addressing Bohol’s energy needs.”

Meanwhile, Mayor Yap cited the collaboration between the city and utility company.

“Tagbilaran City is committed to working hand-in-hand with Bohol Light,” she said.

The company’s new tagline translates to “Light for Everyone, Joy for Everyone” in English.

The utility announced several customer service improvements, including a 24/7 helpline and control center with emergency response teams for power outages and billing questions.

Through its Bohol Konek program, the company simplified new electricity connections.

The upcoming Bohol Kolek program will offer multiple payment options, including a mobile app and collecting agents.

The Bohol Korek program will replace old meters with new ones, while Bohol Update focuses on accurate account information and billing.
