The Provincial Government of Bohol, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), will host a comprehensive job fair featuring both local and overseas employment opportunities on Aug. 27, 2025, at the Bohol Cultural Center on CPG Avenue.

The PGBH-TESDA Local and Overseas Job Fair 2025, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., is organized by the Bohol Employment and Placement Office-Public Employment Service Office (BEPO-PESO) and coincides with National Tech-Voc Day, which promotes technical and vocational education programs for TVET alumni.

The event targets job seekers across 10 major industry sectors, offering opportunities in banking and finance, business process outsourcing call centers, construction, engineering, general administrative positions, hotel and restaurant management, information technology and computer-related positions, manufacturing, medical/nursing/caregiving roles, and sales and merchandising.

Officials strongly encourage job seekers to pre-register either online or in person to secure registration cards.

Online pre-registration is available at https://bit.ly/pgbh-tesdajobfair2025, while walk-in registration can be completed at the BEPO-PESO office located on the third floor of the Bohol Provincial Capitol in Tagbilaran City.

Applicants must prepare at least three to five sets of essential documents, including a comprehensive resume or biodata, diploma or transcript of records (TOR), employment and training certificates, NBI or police clearance, 2×2 ID pictures, and valid passports for those applying to overseas positions.

The job fair operates under the theme “Sa TESDA, Kayang Kaya,” noting the organization’s commitment to empowering Filipino workers through skills development and employment placement services.

Several partner organizations are supporting the event, including PESO MAP, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan program, PhilHealth, and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, among others represented by various agency logos on promotional materials.

The event is part of the World Cafe of Opportunities project, offering global employment prospects available to Filipino workers with technical and vocational training backgrounds.
