Watching the resumption of the Senate hearings on the anomalous flood control projects makes us seethe with anger.
Too much due process and leeway have been given to the key players which have been abused to the max.
While we are stuck on red tape and proper procedures, alleged culprits have slowly snuck out of the country to God knows where.
Lawmakers are grandstanding while the Filipino people cry out for blood, eagerly awaiting justice.
Will it be served or will it be just another of those endless hearings and investigations that in the end will exonerate the big fishes?
While we don’t want to rush to conclusions, our patience is wearing thin.Morale is low and investor confidence in our institutions is waning.
Do we have hope for our country? Will corruption ever end?
