Bohol Water Utilities Inc. (BWUI) spokesman Victor Tambis said the company is continuing its program to expand and improve the service.
BWUI is replacing water lines along Toledo street, in barangay Dao, with work at 88 percent of its completion, and in Zamora street, now 85 percent complete.
New lines are laid at CPG North Avenue from the corner of Baguio Drive to the corner of Salazar street in barangay Ubujan.
There are new lines that tap the sources from Tagbilaran City.
Moreover, BWUI reminds consumers of their obligation to settle monthly bills before the due date.
The BWUI has been engaged in a campaign to disconnect delinquent accounts.
In order to avoid disconnection, consumers are reminded to settle their water bills promptly to avoid inconvenience and also to avoid larger payments. .
Tambis said the bill needs to be settled based on the consumption for the given month.
Disconnection may happen after two successive months where the bill has been unsettled, Tambis said.
