The City Government of Tagbilaran will officially launch Saulog Tagbilaran 2026 tomorrow, March 16, 2026 as the City celebrates the 461st Blood Compact Anniversary at the Tagbilaran City Friendship Park.
The celebration will begin with a Holy Mass at the St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral-Shrine Parish.
Following the Mass, Mayor Jane Yap will lead the wreath-laying and floral dedication in commemoration of the 461st Blood Compact Anniversary.
This solemn ceremony pays tribute to the historic pact of friendship and alliance, which remains a significant part of the city’s identity.
Messages will also be delivered by Bohol 1st District Representative John Geesnell “Baba” Yap II, Bohol Governor Hon. Erico Aristotle Aumentado and Mayor Jane Yap, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage and strengthening tourism initiatives in the province.
One of the highlights of the launching program will be the presentation of the official candidates for Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2026 and the Saulog Festival King and Queen.
The program will conclude with a message from City Vice Mayor Adam Relson Jala.
Saulog Tagbilaran 2026 promises a packed lineup of activities aimed at engaging the community and celebrating the city’s unique identity.
Major events include the Saulog Sports Opening Ceremony on March 22, Saulog Tagbilaran Interschool Quiz Bee Competition Year 3 on March 23, Mutya sa Tagbilaran on April 19, Saulog Festival King and Queen on April 22, Saulog Street Dancing Competition and Ritual Showdown on April 26, DuEkSam Night on May 1, and Maoy sa Mayo Saulog Concert on May 3.
Regular Saulog activities that the public has come to love will also be held, including the Saulog Tagbilaran Bazaar and Nightly Entertainment from April 6 to May 3, 2026, at the City Hall Grounds,
Kombira sa Tagbilaran on April 25, Himog Huni Original Songwriting Competition Ikawalong Hugna on April 28, St. Joseph the Worker Fluvial Parade on April 29.
The City Government of Tagbilaran is inviting all Boholanos and visitors to join the festivities as the city celebrates its heritage and culture spirit with Saulog Tagbilaran 2026 under the theme “One Family, One City”.
