The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) successfully conducted a tree planting activity at Brgy. Poblacion Norte, Batuan on March 19, 2026, in collaboration with the Batuan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). This initiative highlights the vital role of firefighters beyond emergency response, as they actively contributed to reforestation efforts. The activity supports environmental conservation, prevents soil erosion, reduces flood risks, and improves air quality in the community. Tree planting also plays a crucial role in mitigating the effects of climate change and protecting natural resources for future generations.
