UB Grants ₱23M in Scholarships for SY 2025–2026
Empowering a lifeline that transforms merit into opportunity, the University of Bohol has allocated 23 million worth of scholarship grants to deserving students—particularly those who demonstrate academic excellence yet face financial constraints. The institutionalized intervention is aimed at restoring hope, unlocking potential, and enabling them to pursue and complete the courses of their dreams.
For school year 2025-2026 alone, a total of 452 students availed various scholarships and grants, including the Presidential Scholarship Program, Leadership Scholarship Privilege, University Creative Staff Scholarship Program, Mr. & Miss UB Personality, Loyalty Awardee Scholarship Privilege, Athletic Scholarship Program, Student Assistants Scholarship Program, Resident Academic Scholarship Program, Freshmen Academic Scholarship Program, and Presidential Decree No. 577 grant.
In addition, UB also extends scholarships and discounts in Employee’s Schooling Privilege, Employee’s Legal Dependent Privilege, Dependent’s Academic Excellence Privilege, and Family Relations Discount.
With the University’s latest diversified investments in utilities and facilities, alumni can soon look forward to discounts through the enhanced Alumni ID and Discount Card program.
University of Bohol Announces No Tuition Hike Amid Global Energy Crisis
Amid the continuing global energy crisis, the University of Bohol has reaffirmed its commitment to its stakeholders by maintaining current tuition rates for the incoming School Year 2026–2027. In a move aimed at easing the financial burden on students and their families, the University has decided not to implement any tuition fee increase.
The latest advisory assures the student community that tuition fee will remain unchanged, preserving the status quo despite rising operational costs. This decision underscores the University’s dedication to making quality education accessible while upholding its standards of excellence at reasonable and competitive rates.
Enrolment for the Summer class for school year 2025-2026 is from May 11 to June 6, 2026, and starts on June 8, until July 15, 2026.
