Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (2nd from right), thanked on June 9, 2026, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (C*TIKA) of the Republic of Turkiye for the 2.5M fish cage, fishing boats and fishing equipment donated to the Eastern Cabul-an Fishermen Association. He particularly thanked Mr. Ibrahim Katirci (2nd from left), Program Coordinator, for personally visiting and witnessing the turnover of the fishing equipment. He also thanked DA BFAR SAAD National Officials, BFAR VII RD Mario Ruinata and all other DA Personnel present. In their conversation with RD Ruinata, they plan to establish Mariculture in the said town to expand fish cages and other cultivation for high-value species, shellfish and seaweeds.
