Batuan Vice Mayor Antonino Jumawid (inset, upper right corner), said on June 22, 2026, that the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) of Batuan urges residents, non-government organizations (NGOs), cooperatives and people’s organizations (POs) to avail themselves of government services and programs. The Committee on People’s Organization headed by Kons Marvin Pancho and the Committee on Cooperative headed by Kons Segundo Bautista plan to link NGOs and POs with local and national agencies that provide programs and projects. The SB also passed a resolution, principally moved by Kons Daquis, urging coconut farmers to register with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) for benefits and support. (Contributed photo)
