Catigbian Mayor Benjie Oliva (inset, upper right corner) announced that LGU Catigbian achieved HIGHLY FUNCTIONALITY LEVEL for its Local Committee Against Trafficking-Violence Against Women & their Children (LCAT-VAWC) for 2025. The award from DILG 7, DSWD 7, and DOJ 7 was given on July 30, 2026 in Tagbilaran City with Vice Governor Nick Besas (2nd from left) and DILG Provincial Director John Joan Mende (extreme left). It was received by MSWDO Romie Nhick Quino (center), MLGOO Jennifer Amihan (2nd from right), and LYDO Robert Agad (3rd from right). Mayor Oliva was in Cebu City for DOH-UP LHLGP Training.
