San Miguel Mayor Ian Gil Mendez (3rd from right) congratulated the municipality for receiving an award as one of the LGUs that attained the Ideal Functionality Rating of the Local Council Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children on July 30, 2026. LGU San Miguel was recognized for its exemplary performance, strong anti-trafficking and VAWC mechanisms, and commitment to protecting vulnerable sectors through effective governance and community action.
