FULLIDO CLAN holds Grand Reunion today
The prominent Fullido Clan of Dauis will have its first-ever Grand Reunion today, August 16, at the scenic Abatan Riverview Resort in Maribojoc, with the theme, “Together As One.”
Family members; especially grandchildren and great grandchildren, and other descendants of Catalino-Marciana Fullido in Poblacion, Dauis; will have an enjoyable afternoon of camaraderie, and a spectacular evening of wholesome fun and entertainment.
To add color and festive atmosphere to the said family gathering, Bohol’s premiere party band CenterStage will perform the best retro and pop dance hits, as well as ballroom music for everyone to enjoy during the fellowship night.
The pride of the clan, celebrity singer/model Maynard Fullido, who is the GMA-7 Starstruck Season 7 finalist and “Tanghalan ng Kampeon” Season 4 contender, will serve as the guest performer in the evening.
Millenial group Ringtone band will entertain everyone in the opening act during dinnertime, together with Rodrigo Biloy, aka Yoyoy Villame of Bohol, who will spice up the show with humor and laughter.
The official program commences at 4 pm with a Holy Mass, then a Welcome Address by one of the elders and major sponsors, Australia-based Corazon Fullido Rouse, followed by “Getting to Know Each Other” Portion by way of Acknowledgement and Introduction of Family Members, interpersed with Q & A Trivia Game with fabulous prizes at stake, courtesy of The Generics Pharmacy (TGP) through Claire Fullido-Dajay.
The arrival and registration of participants start earlier at 1 pm, followed by billeting and Welcome Reception.
In the evening is the Fellowship Night from 6 pm until 11 pm, and bonding time with the family until 12 midnight.
The event is hosted by Ariel Fullido and Claire Fullido-Dajay, with over-all coordination from Gabriel Fullido Cimafranca and the Core Group.
The Fullido Clan of Dauis is ranked No. 6 in the Top 20 Most Number of Surnames in the said municipality by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
“A DAY WITH ANGELS” IN TALIBON
As part of the 23rd Anniversary of Alturas Mall-Talibon last August 8, Alay Marcela Foundation of the Alturas Group of Companies in coordination with DSWD-Bohol, conducted another “A Day with Angels” Community Outreach Program where 60 poor children from the different barangays and neighboring islands of Talibon were treated to a memorable and enjoyable day of art workshop, playing games at World of Fun, and sumptuous lunch at Jollibee.
