PANGLAO, BOHOL — You don’t need to fly far or plan for weeks to feel like you’re on vacation. Sometimes, all it takes is a day — or two — at the right resort.

On the white-sand stretch of Alona, BE Grand Resort Bohol is proving just that, with a fresh set of promos tailored for everyone from spontaneous daytrippers to travelers looking for a longer, slower escape.
In an interview with Ardy Araneta Batoy, Jodelle Tesalona, Marketing Communications Officer of BE Grand Resort Bohol, shared what’s new at the 4-star beachfront property, which has become a favorite for both local families and international guests.
A Full Resort Day for the Price of a Lunch Out:
At the center of its current offerings is the resort’s popular “Daycation” — a day pass promo that lets guests enjoy BE Grand’s facilities without booking an overnight stay.
On weekdays, the Daycation is priced at P1,350 with P800 consumable, while on weekends, it is at P1,500 with P900 consumable. The consumable amount can be used at the resort’s Food Hall or the breezy, beachfront Bridge Café, making it easy to turn a swim day into a full food trip.
For families, it’s an even better deal — children aged 5 to 12 years old get 50% off the day pass rate.
“It’s perfect for families and barkadas who just want to spend the whole day with us,” Tesalona said. “You can swim, eat, sing, play — everything is already there.”
Indeed, the day pass is more than just pool access. Guests can take a dip in both the main swimming pool and the kiddie pool, challenge friends at the game room, belt out favorites at the karaoke room, and head out to sea with non-motorized water sports such as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
It’s a complete resort experience, condensed into one relaxing day.
For Those Who Want to Stay Awhile
For guests who want to linger a little longer, BE Grand is also offering its Early Bird Staycation promo until September 30, 2026. With rates starting as low as P7,100 per night, the promo makes a beachfront staycation more accessible than ever.
Among the highlights is the resort’s Oceans Suite — a room with a sweeping ocean view that lets you wake up to the sound of waves and the sight of Panglao’s famous horizon. Under the early bird offer, the Oceans Suite is available at P16,500 per night.
And for those who believe two nights are better than one, the resort has a 3-days, 2-nights package with spa amenities starting at P16,500, valid until December 31, 2026. It’s designed for guests who want to truly unwind — to trade city traffic for poolside calm, and screen time for spa time.
Sunset Cocktails and Saturdays by the Fire
The BE Grand experience, however, doesn’t end when the sun is high. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the resort rolls out its Happy Hour with Buy-One-Take-One cocktails — best enjoyed with your feet in the sand.
Then every Saturday, the Monkey Bar comes alive with its Open Fire Dining, a festive evening of grilled specialties, smoky flavors, and live island vibes under the stars. It has quickly become a weekend habit for both in-house guests and walk-in diners.
Bookings can be made directly through the resort’s official website at http://www.beresorts.com.
Hopeful Despite the Slowdown
Behind the promos, Tesalona also shared a candid observation about Panglao’s current tourism climate. She noted a visible downturn in tourist arrivals, particularly from the Korean market, which used to dominate the island.
“The Koreans are arriving in trickles now,” she said.
Still, she said the island continues to welcome a mix of Chinese, European, and Filipino tourists who keep Panglao’s shores alive. With creative offers and warm, consistent service, resorts like BE Grand are helping keep the island’s tourism spirit afloat — one daycation at a time.
