Police in Tagbilaran City arrested a known suspected snatcher, following an operation on Sept. 5, 2022, according to reports released on Sept. 9, 2022.
The police identified the suspect as a certain Pedro Maglupay, 42, of sitio Anas, barangay Badiang, Valencia Bohol.
He was arrested following an operation after he snatched the possession of a minor from Maribojoc, Bohol.
The police launched the operation to arrest the suspect after the victim informed the authorities that she was a victim of a suspected snatcher.
The snatching incident happened along CPG North Avenue and reports say that the suspected snatcher carted the victim’s cellular phone.
Moreover, the suspect was taken into custody as charges will soon be filed against the alleged perpetrator.
