The Provincial Government of Bohol welcomed yesterday two of its weightlifting champions, Vanessa Sarno and Dave Lloyd Pacaldo.
The athletes were received by Governor Aris Aumentado during their courtesy visit at the Governor’s Office.
Sarno and Pacaldo had recently competed in the 32nd edition of the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Cambodia.
Sarno won a gold medal in the women’s 71-kilogram division of weightlifting while Pacaldo placed fourth in the men’s 67-kilogram division.
Ms. Liza Jaluag, a representative of National Weightlifting Coach Nicolas Jaluag, accompanied the Boholano champions during their visit.
The Boholanos are extremely proud of their athletes and extend their congratulations once again, the Capitol said in a statement.
