Bohol Light has been intensifying its engagement with the communities via the Barangayan program.

This way, people are educated on how to obtain safe, legal, and reliable power service.

Bohol Connect is a program of Bohol Light providing a pathway for people who need to acquire legal power connections and have been deprived of legal connections for the longest time.

The on-site team is willing to accept the requirements for the Bohol Connect program as this is an initiative aimed to help informal settlers under the Urban Poor Alliance to gain temporary and legal connections.

The aim of the program is to make it easier to apply for connections and to ensure compliance with local regulations.

On Feb. 18, 2026, the program visited barangay Manga, and on Feb. 19, 2025, the program went to barangay Mansasa.

Residents flocked to the covered courts of the said barangays as they were educated regarding the program and received information on how to obtain legal electrical connections.

Bohol Light has been appreciative of the active participation of residents in order to achieve the goal for a robust and reliable power distribution.

Bohol Connect is part of the efforts of Bohol Light under the management of Primelectric Holdings Inc. for the electrification and continued service to the people in Tagbilaran City.
