Two (2) locally stranded individuals (LSIs) now in Bohol test positive for Covid infection: one (1) from Dauis and the other is from Loboc town, according to a report from the Capitol.

In a post in the Facebook page of the Municipality of Loboc, the town government confirmed on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, that one LSI was confirmed to have tested positive for Covid infection.

Reports say that the town government of Dauis also confirmed one LSI who tested positive for Covid.

Both LSIs who originated from Cebu are now isolated, the same reports say.

Reports also say that the Loboc LSI is placed in isolation and was subjected to a swab test after exhibiting symptoms.

The same report say that authorities told the batch of LSIs where the Covid positive person belongs, will get to stay for seven (7) days more after the 14-day quaramtine period.

The local government unit of Loboc assures the residents that the LSIs are secured inside the quarantine facility.

On the other hand, the Dauis Covid infected LSI is no longer showing symptoms, according to reports.

The same reports say that contact tracing activities have already been initiated.

With the two (2) new cases, Bohol now has 19 active Covid cases with a total of 29 recorded cases since January 2020.
